Mr Nicholas Eynon-Lewis

Mr. Eynon-Lewis MB BS, BSc (Hons), FRCS (ORL-HNS) is a Consultant Surgeon at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals, London. He trained in London at Charing Cross, The Royal Free and St. Bartholomew’s Hospitals as well as The National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital and other hospitals in the UK.

He has also spent time working and observing overseas in Cape Town, SA and Dallas, USA. He is in charge of undergraduate teaching at Barts and The London School of Medicine, University of London.

He is involved with organizing and lecturing on courses at The University of London and The Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is on the editorial board of the international on-line journal Otolaryngology.

 

Mr Abhijeet Parikh

Mr Parikh FRCS (ORL-HNS), PhD is a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington in London, which is part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. It is one of the first Academic Health Science Centers in UK.

Mr Parikh qualified from University of Mumbai, India in 1982. He specialized in ENT surgery (Master of Surgery) from the same university in 1987, and decided to pursue further studies in the UK.

In UK his postgraduate training centered around the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital. From 1996 to 1998 he undertook a research post in Allergy with Dr Glenis Scadding, which led to a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of London. He continued his surgical training in ENT from 1998 onwards, and became a Consultant at St. Mary’s Hospital in 2003.

During his career he has pursued an active interest in research with many publications in peer reviewed journals. He reviews articles for the journal Rhinology.

Mr Mike Dilkes

Mike Dilkes MS, FRCS (Ed), FRCS (ORL-HNS) is a consultant ENT and Head & Neck surgeon at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals.

He qualified from St. Mary’s Hospital in 1985. He did his post-graduate training at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, St. Mary’s, St. Bartholomew’s, The Royal London and Northwick Park Hospitals, London and completed a Master of Surgery thesis in 2000.

Mr Dilkes specializes in Head & Neck cancer surgery and the use of LASER in ENT surgery. He has organized and lectured on many courses at The Royal College of Surgeons and the University of London.

He is the Director of The London Laser Clinic.

Professor Michael Polkey

Professor Michael Polkey PhD, FRCP is a Consultant Physician at The Royal Brompton Hospital and Professor at Imperial College, London.

He trained at Guys, Kings College, St Thomas’s and The Royal Brompton Hospitals.

He has numerous publications in the field of Respiratory Medicine. He is associate editor of the European Respiratory Journal and Clinical Science and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Applied Physiology.

He has an interest in Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and will organize and interpret sleep studies when required. He will also manage sleep apnoea when surgery is not required.
